We’re extremely proud to announce that last Friday we added 2x GOLDS and 1x SILVER to our growing cabinet from this prestigious award ceremony. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating this magnificent achievement at Tobacco Dock.
We would like to congratulate our clients – HSBC, NHS and Sidra. It goes without saying that these awards wouldn’t be possible without you – our clients entrusting us to produce these epic films.
Below is one of our award-winning films.
NHS – Finding Patience – The Later Years
To date there are 24,000 care homes and 350,000 care home places across the UK and evidence suggests that 80% of care home residents have dementia, or at least some form of significant cognitive impairment.
In line with the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia 2020, HEE aims to ensure that all NHS staff receives dementia training appropriate to their role.
Finding Patience – The Later Years explores what makes good person-centred dementia care in care homes. The film follows the experiences of Patience and her family as she moves to a care home. It explores the challenges faced by care home staff and demonstrates what good quality patient-centred care looks like.
Ultimately the main aim of the film is to encourage health and care professionals to reflect on the care they provide and calls for the delivery of care to focus on the individual, not the disease.
Over the past year Finding Patience – The Later Years has been shown at variety of major events including GovConnect Conference, The Alzheimer’s Show, The Alzhemier’s Society Conference and the UK Dementia Congress. The delegates included staff across health and social care sectors.
